This program aims to provide additional specialist-level modules for Basic First Aiders to increase their competency level. Participants will learn latest developed modules such as: 2015 CPR and ECC Guidelines for CPR & Choking and management of bleedings & wound, burn & scald, fracture and spinal injuries. On top of that, participants will be taught to utilize advanced equipment such as basic airway adjuncts, Bag-Valve Mask (BVM), Oxygen Therapy set, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Kendrick Extrication Device (KED) etc. The training also include extra topic such as Triage as this is a process of determining the priority of patients' treatments based on the severity of their condition in multiple casualty incident (Disaster).
It is also designed for people with job-related duties in emergency preparedness and response. This include nurses, law enforcers and EMS personnel, fire fighters, business and industry response teams, flight attendants, and others who are required to take action in emergency situations. (e.g. Offshore, Maritime, Aviation, Airport, Shipyard, petrochemical plant, or any other high-risk workplace)
Objectives:
At the program's conclusion, participants should be able to:

Render First Aid Management for various injuries such as bleeding, burn, shock, fracture, spinal injuries and etc

Become a Qualified First Aider & comply with legal provision: Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994

Demonstrate ability to use advanced equipment such as Airway adjuncts, Oxygen Therapy set, Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM), AED and KED.
