With more than 30 years of continuous commitment, the flexHR Annual Workshop has become a trusted platform for delivering vital knowledge, regulatory updates, and impactful strategies that help our clients grow and stay compliant.

In August 2025, the latest edition of the flexHR Annual Workshop was successfully held in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, welcoming more than 200+ customers, HR professionals participated at each location. The strong turnout reflects the continued value and trust placed in this long-standing event to empower HR professionals with flexHR, our trusted and proven Human Capital Management platform – built for compliance, scalability and the future of work.

One of the key highlights of this year’s program was the engaging session by Datuk Hj Shamsuddin bin Bardan, Adviser to the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF). He shared valuable insights on the Employment Act, the latest HR regulations, and recent updates in compensation and benefits, all of which are highly relevant to today’s HR and business landscape.

Datuk Shamsuddin also walked participants through the key changes introduced under the Employment Act 2022, bringing the subject to life with real-world examples and personal experiences that deepened understanding and sparked thoughtful discussion.

The session was well-received, with participants appreciating both the relevance of the content and the interactive engagement it encouraged.

Our internal speaker, Mr. Joey from the Business Development Team, delivered an in-depth presentation on the key features of flexHR®, with a special focus on the newly introduced HR Strategic System, including its Training module. He highlighted how these modules empower customers to efficiently plan, budget, and manage training programs within their organisations, driving workforce development and performance improvement.
Followed by Mr. Sean from the Customer Service Department, who subsequently provided a comprehensive overview of Touchpoint 2025 for Visual Solutions
in which he highlighted new key enhancements in the flexHR® system designed to help customers streamline HR processes, ensure compliance, and elevate their overall user experience.

Over the years, we have been proud to invite key government agencies such as KWSP, LHDN, PERKESO, and JTK to speak on important statutory topics. These sessions have helped our clients better understand and comply with changing laws and obligations.

In addition, professional consultants from both internal and external sources have shared expert insights on topics such as: Transforming Workforce Management for Tomorrow’s Challenges, Performance Improvement Plans and Mutual Separation Constructive Dismissal and Breach of Contract. These sessions have offered our clients practical guidance and real-world knowledge, helping them enhance workplace strategies and better manage HR challenges.

Participants also benefited from informative slideshow presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and engaging discussions, allowing them to clarify their concerns and exchange ideas with peers and speakers alike. The energy in the room was vibrant, with clients actively participating and showing a strong desire to learn and apply the knowledge in their organisations.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a well-organised and insightful event, emphasising the practical value of the information shared.

As part of the event’s entertainment segment, participants enjoyed a variety of fun games and a lively lucky draw session. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as participants competed in the activities and several lucky winners walked away with fantastic prizes, adding an extra layer of thrill to the occasion.

We now look forward to welcoming participants to our next session in Johor Bahru on 3 September. As always, we remain committed to delivering timely, relevant, and high-impact content to support our clients’ continued success.
